2020 Winners of CARL’s Research in Librarianship Grant

We are proud to announce that ViMLoC members Cecilia Tellis (University of Ottawa), Maha Kumaran (University of Saskatchewan), and Victoria Ho (University of Manitoba) are winners of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) Research in Librarianship Grant fund! Their project titled Applying a critical theory and anti-oppression framework to EDI work in libraries was one of four projects selected for the grant. The Practicing Librarian Grant is awarded to new and established librarians, in order to support research in the field of academic librarianship by and/or about Canadians. It is intended to support projects involving structured, evidence-based research in libraries that propose answers to real-world issues.
