The role of Manager, Service and Program Design Information Services is an exciting opportunity to deliver on these goals and build our library and community’s reputation as innovators, creators and game changers.
Our Manager, Service and Program Design Information Services will play a vital role in researching, planning and implementing high-quality programming and other service initiatives for adults. We are seeking an individual who can cultivate and maintain partnerships within the local community in support of services that are responsive to community needs. Reporting to the Division Manager, Information Services, the position holder will also provide a high calibre of reference, readers’ advisory and services related to the circulation of library materials.
The successful candidate possesses an MLS, MIS or MLIS degree and two to three years of professional experience, with one or two years at a supervisory level. The position also requires an individual with a demonstrated ability to champion and implement positive change and work collaboratively with other team members to enhance the customer experience. Other requirements include excellent oral and written communication skills and an aptitude and interest in serving diverse populations including customers with complex needs. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service is also a must for success in this role.

Salary range: $70,322 – $81,538
