The Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA) offers a mentorship program for new archivists, with an option for BIPOC archivists to choose to engage with another BIPOC archivist. The program is run for ACA members by the volunteers of the Membership Committee with the BIPOC Special Interest Section overseeing the matching of BIPOC mentors/mentees.
The ACA’s trial run of a BIPOC mentorship program was a success. The 2026 year is now open until December 15, 2025, for mentees and mentors: https://archivists.ca/Mentorship
If you are not a member of ACA, there are subsidies available for both mentees and mentors.
