Latinx GLAM in Canada

About Us:

Latinx GLAM in Canada is an informal community of Latin American-identifying GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) workers and students across Canada. We are committed to creating a supportive, collaborative, and empowering space to share experiences, seek advice, and work toward common goals. Rooted in mutual respect and solidarity, our group fosters dialogue, mentoring, and professional development that reflect our diverse identities and lived experiences in the GLAM sector.

Whether through informal drop-ins or more structured collaboration, we aim to build a sustainable and inclusive network that affirms our voices and strengthens our presence in the field. We are currently meeting remotely via Zoom once a month. New members are welcome to join meetings at their convenience. During meetings, we catch up, get to know each other, share ideas for how to collaborate as a group, and plan initiatives. If you cannot attend meetings, we also communicate regularly via Google Groups. We look forward to meeting you!
