The Ontario Library Association (OLA) now offers a handful of Equity Seats for full‑day virtual programs to help reduce financial and systemic barriers to professional learning. For each full‑day virtual event, up to five $0 equity‑based member registrations are available to OLA members who do not have access to employer‑funded professional development and would otherwise be unable to attend. No documentation is required.

Equity registrations are offered in good faith and reflect OLA’s commitment to broader access, while continuing to encourage institutions to support staff professional development wherever possible.

We encourage more accessibility and reduced barriers to participation like this with other groups. If you can, please support OLA by becoming a member or attend their events like this year’s Digital Odyssey where equity seats are available!
