ViMLoC and Black GLAM Canada are pleased to share news of a growing partnership between our communities. Together, we are committed to strengthening connections, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for learning, mentorship, and professional growth within the GLAM sector.
Black GLAM Canada is a new, informal community of Black and Black-multiracial-identifying GLAM professionals and students. The group provides a supportive and empowering space where members can share experiences, seek advice, build connections, and work toward common goals.
Rooted in mutual respect, inclusivity, and solidarity, Black GLAM Canada encourages meaningful dialogue, mentorship, and professional development that reflects the diverse identities and experiences of Black professionals across galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.
Individuals at all career stages, from students to retirees, are warmly welcome to join the community by completing this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSefIcTPVPjDX13O3TeJABEQCPEey9FQEDiMYP3QrqVXPry6sg/viewform
